FINLAND 2008;
SHOWING AND HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME WITH TEIJA AT KENNEL HEINAARON

This december we had signed in for the Finnish winner in Helsinki. We were invited to live at Teijas house. She and her dogs lives in a cosy house with a lot of space for the dogs outside. We really liked our stay there, and hope we can come back sometime. Teijas dogs were really outgoing and we feeled very loved :-) On Saturday we went training with the dogs at a field belonging to Teijas sister. Pheasants were placed out, and both Valborg and Stella had a useful trainingsession. Stella got a good contact with a pheasant and after that she was really determind to find more birds!
Sunday we took place in Teijas camper and set for the show. 21 Bracchi and 5 Spinoni. We had not any expectations for the show, but we really looked foreward to see all the examples of our breeds. Out of 21 Bracchi 6 got excellent, and Valborg was not one of them. Best of Breed was the veteran Heinaaron Tuo Tulipano and she also managed to be 2. BIS veteran at this show. In the Spinonering things went better, I must say a lot better. Stella was one of 3 junior females, and there was one male (came unfortunately too late)and one open class female, so there was a though competition. BUT, the judge really loved our little Stella, and awarded her 1. in juniorclass and then Best of Breed with CAC!!! We are so happy for this. Now Stella got two titles, FINJW and FINW 08. And as the youngest in the Spinonering, only 10 months. Here follows some pictures from our stay in Finland. Thank you again Teija for letting us live with you, we are so happy that we came!
