Buying a puppy from Kennel Costa Vista

Kennel Costa Vista only sell puppies to serious people. That means pearsons that know what it takes to have dog, and who are planning to use the dog for different tasks. We hope, of course, that people that want a puppy from us is interested in using the dog for hunting, but we also demand that the dog must have an active life all year.
We sell dogs as familydogs in the way that we don`t guarantee for the puppy growing up to be a great showdog or having the quialities to be used for breeding. If you want a "perfect" dog for showing and breeding it can be wiser to buy an adult specimen. Breeding of live animals never gives any guarantees, but we will ofcourse do our best. We will, before deciding to have a litter, have people on our waitinglist. So if you are seriously interested in a puppy from us, please let us know, so we can sign you in to our list.

We wish to meet potential puppy-buyers in person, but for those that lives far away, this contact can be replaced with phone/skype/e-mail. We will never send a puppy on plane or other transports alone, those that buy a puppy from us has to come and get it and travel with it.

The socialisation period for puppies reach from 3-12 weeks. And it is very important that this process starts at the breeder. When you buy a puppy from us, it will be used to normal "housenoises" as the litter will be living with us in the livingroom as a part of the family. The will also be exsposed to other noises, such specials sound cd`s made for training. The puppies will also get used to some car-driving, different enviroments outside, different humans and so on.

Puppies are delivered with:

- Buyers contract
- Vaccinated
- Pedigree/Exportpedigree from the Norwegian Kennel Klub
- Notes with information from the breeder
- Lifelong counselling regarding the dog
- Food with the same brand as they are used to

The pups are also dewormed at 3, 5 and 7 weeks and examined by vet with healthreport before they change owner.

Foreign buyers must contact theire local authorities regarding import of a puppy from Norway.
