11/19/2008: New phto`s: Valborg and Together. We are back home after a long trip, showing in Denmark with no succsess but we have also visited other places on our holiday. The plan was to go to the Norwegian Winner show friday, but because the dogs have got kennelcauf (from the last show) we decided to go home. As you might know a kennelcauf is very contaminate. But we will come stronger the next time!

11/11/2008: Pictures from the show in Denmark here. After a long trip through Denmark and Sweden, we are back in Trondheim.
10/30/2008: Some updates. Thank you very much for the support after loosing our beloved Tina. It has really helped. Picture on first page of Stella and Valborg from the walk today.
10/21/2008: Our beloved Tina, was peacful put to sleep in our home yesterday after long term illness. She was only 3 years old. Despite her short life bothered by illness, she has achieved a lot. She has always been a happy, steady dog and we have enjoyed being with her. But when illness takes over a life, there is nothing we can do anymore. Rest in peace our dear, dear Tina.
10/13/2008: The last highlandtest this year is over, and we cannot say that we are satisfyed with this test. But a useful experience and many nice participants and judge. The weather was terrible and we were soaking wet when we came down from the mountain. A big congrat to Susanne and Luka that got 1.price on saturday! 10/02/2008: New picture of Stella on the welcomesite, she is now 8 months. We are ready for a lot of exiting things that will happen in the future months, and it will be some travelling with the dogs. There have been some updates on different pages with new text and pictures. We have taken a lot of new pictures, this will soon be on the homepage.
09/27/2008: The blog is continuely updated. Tina had her 3. birthday yesterday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to her and the rest of her siblings!!!

09/04/2008: The last days after the huntingtests, has gone to training and mountainwalks with Valborg. She is very much in heat now, and we have to have that in our minds also. Tuesday we spend almost six hours in the mountain, and we discovered some grouses. That shows us that it actually is grouse in the mountain. The 10. september it is the start of the huntingseason for grouse and forestbirds among others.. Because of a small amount of grouse in large part of the country it is only alllowed to shoot 2 forestgrouses and 3 mountaingrouses per day. We will see what the catch is going to be, for me the most important thing is to get the dog experienced in the birdsituations.

08/04/2008: We are back home from the show in Lofoten with excellent results! Stella and Valborg entered the shoring both saturday and sunday, and became BOB and BOG both days! Sunday Valborg gained her 7. CAC, and that is with 7 different judges! The nature in Lofoten is stunning, both wild and beautiful. We highly recomend Lofoten if you like to see nature! On our way to Lofoten we stopped by Mo to meet some people that are interested in the breed. And we think Stella impressed them with her wet beardkisses. 27/07/2008: New photospecial; Summer 2008. We and the dogs enjoy beautiful, sunny days. We are spoiled with our own beach few steps from our house, so it will be some swimmingtraining. 07/15/2008: New pages under "puppies". We have finally internet again, so the homepage and the blog will be updated more often again!
09/07/2008: We are back home after the World Winner show in Stockholm. Valborg got an excellent. Many Bracchi at this show; 50 entries. Exciting to see so many at the same place! We lived at a camping place together with Tina from Kennel Ala D`Oro and her friend Ingrid. Tina made a lot of really nice photo`s of the dogs. They will be at the homepage soon. If the weather is ok tomorrow, we will pack our backsacks and head for the mountain. There we will camp for a couple of days. The dogs is of cours following with us! After a lightening we are without internet, but hope that it soon will be on again. New photo`s in Show, album Valborg og album Stella.

07/06/2008: Saturday there was an international dogshow in Trondheim, and I entered with Valborg. She got CAC, CACIB and was BOB. See some pictures here. Before the weekend I send an e-mail to Irene Krogstad regarding retrieving diploma. Irene knew about a huntingjudge that could judge us when we were in Trondheim. So after the show he judged Valborgs skills. It went very good, with excellent work. We are very proud of her, achieving this diploma!
04/06/2008: We have had a great week with our friends from Kennel Ala DÒro; Tina and Jaap. New site with picture from this last week here. Lot of new pictures in Photo`s. Thomas with Tina has signed up for a course in bloodtracking 14-15 of June.
25/5/2008: Great results this weekend. On a national dogshow in Mo I Rana, Valborg is rewarded CAC, BOB and 2.Best of Group!!! With a beautiful critic, we are of course very very happy!
On the same arrangement there was competition in Rally-Obedience. This was mine and Tinas first time in this sport. We got 1. price and are now ready to compete in higher classes!
Saturday Tina entered juniorhandling with junior handler Anja Solhaug, and Anja worked her way up, and won the big class! Congratulation!

21/05/2008: New photo`s of all the dogs in theire own site in Photo`s. Today I got an e-mail with good news from Annette, Kennel Stannamore. She has tested both Stellas parents for CA, and both are clear! That means that our Stella also is 100% clear. Thank you Annette for doing this very important tests.

29/04/2008: Valborg got 1.excellent with HP on the show in Namsos. New pictures of Stella, Valborg og Together. Now it`s only one month to Tina and Jaap from Kennel Ala D`Oro is coming to visit us. We really look foreward to that!!! Our next show will be in Mo i Rana the 24. of May. Remember that the blog is translated into English below the Norwegian text!

19/04/2008: The show this weekend had to be cancelled because of Tinas condition. Although she is better, she is still not good, so we decided to stay home with her. We cross our fingers that she just will be better and better now!
14/04/2008: Pages "Bracco Italiano" and "Spinone Italiano" are updated.
13/04/2008: Stella 11 weeks! Yesterday we visited a hunting arrangement with a lot of stands and shops. The dogs also entered and got a lot of attention. And we also did some shopping :-) Tina has recovered nicely after the bloat, and we hope that we never will experience that again.
Kennel Stannamore has been showing in Italy. They did great! Congratulation!

07/04/2008: Updated Spinone Italiano with a new page of diseases. New pictures in Photo`s. The time goes by so fast. Today little Valborg is 17 months. "Fresh" pick of her in Welcome.
04/04/2008: A new page of health and diseases in the Spinone are made. This is for now only in Norwegian, but will be translated into English later. Stella is still doing fine you can watch how her days goes in the Blog.
30/03/2008: Yesterday Stella turned 9 weeks. She has experienced a lot the last week. Today we presented a quail for her for the first time. We were very pleased by her reaction. Look at pictures from the hunting-lesson here. Stella also said hello to the neighbours horses this lovely sunday, and a lot of children. She has also visited different houses and people the last week. So you can say that she is a busy little puppy. All the experiences she does is watched very closely by me, and I allways take care that she doesn`t get scared off the new things. And of course, her beatysleep is holy.
28/03/2008: New pictures of our dogs together with theire dachshoundfriend Mia here. Yesterday I took a picture of our house with the beautiful blue ocean outside. I put it under album diverse. Stella is doing very good at her new home. She is busy with socialisation and experiencing a lot of different places and surroundings. All this new things are of course to get tired of, so she, as all puppies, also sleeps a lot. Valborg is taking the role as entertainer and a very patient rolemodel. This night the snow entered again, and ruined all the feeling of spring..
24/03/2008: Vi have the pleasure to present our new familymember "Stella". She is a Spinone and comes from kennel Stannamore in Holland. After a long flight trip and a looong drive we are finally at home again. She seems to like it here at her new home. Stella is a very social, happy and steady puppy. The other dogs here like her, in the beginningValborg was a little sceptic to her little sister, but now they are very good friends. Stella is also presented in Our Dogs.

27/01/2008: We have been to the course about Rally- Obedience. We had a great weekend. And we just love this new sport! It`s very possible that we will compete in Rally during this year. See pictures from the course HERE!
20/01/2008: We have signed up to learn abour Rally-Obedience. The course is next weekend, and we it will be a new experience for us. YOu can read more abot rally here. We have got four new quails! 06/12/2007: Because of trouble with my old guestbook, I have got a new one. I hope this will be better.
30/12/2007: 2007 is soon over, and we can look back at the old year with happines. We have learned a lot, we have achieved a lot and we are lucky to meet a lot of people during the year. We also have had the oportunity to travel, both in Norway but also across the board. Our dogs have been healthy and happy. We want to send a special greeting to Tina and Jaap at Kennel Ala D`Oro because of theire hospitality and our good friendship. We can`t wait to see you here in 2008!

13/12/2007: Monday we went hunting in the mountains. We had big hopes to get something, but sadly the birds was gone today. Bt we will try again another day. I brought Tina this day, and she showed excellent skills! Thanks to our friend Kine who brought her gun to hunt with us.
Tuesday it was time for us to show what we have learned on the hunting course. The test lasted one hour, and we got the result right away. Both of us passed the test with very good results, so now we just have to wait for the papers from the Norwegian huntingsociety. We are so happy!!!

07/10/2007: We are back from a great holiday in Holland. You can read a report and see pictures from the trip here. Valborg is 1 year old today. Congratulation!!! She also send birthdaykisses to her brothers and sisters!
31/10/2007: Tomorrow is finally the day that we are travelling to our friends Tina and Jaap at kennel Ala D`Oro in Holland. We are so looking foreward to this trip. They say it will be a lot of avtivities, and we also are going hunting!
Yesterday we got 9 healthy quails. They will be are new "hobby". Very funny and active birds!
My dear father is coming to live in our house to take care of the dogs and the birds when we are away. World greatest father!!!
A lot of pictures will be on the internett when we come home!
21/10/2007: Sunday it was an International show in Tromsø. Tina competed with her father, and was rewarded BOB with CK! It was such fun to see her father again! Valborg entered again as a junior, and got today 1. excellent with Honoursprice. We are very satsfied with this weekend, and make all the effort and driving worth it! 20/10/2007: At a national show in Tromsø today, Tina gained her Norwegian championship, and also Danish championship. She won her 7th CAC and got BOB. Valborg also won CAC and got BOB. It was 10 dogs entering group FCI-7, and here was Valborg placed as number 4! Tina was not placed today. A great day for us and the dogs! Judge was Mr. Gerry Hickey.

15/09/2007: Today it was an official obedience contest in Mo i Rana. Tina entered and got 188,5 points of 200 possible, won her class and is now ready for higher obedince classes. Way to go for Tina the Spinone!!!
10/09/2007: We have been training in Mo this weekend and we have trained a lot with some of the members in the club. Saturday it`s competition, so this week it will be a lot of more training!
06/09/2007: This weekend we will be training in Mo i Rana both Saturday and Sunday. Both Tina and Valborg will train for obedience-tests. Next weekend Tina and I are signed up for a competition in obedience, so now it`s a lot of training.
